About and Contact

Hi! I’m Paweł. My full name has multiple letters that are likely to mess with your system. You can copy it here: Paweł W. Woźniak If you’re interested in pronouncing my name, here is a sample.

I’m an Associate Professor at Chalmers Univeristy of Technology and you can usually find me around the third floor of the Kuggen building.

This page enables you to set up a meeting during the hours I try to keep free. Please email me for alternative times.

Previously, I was an Assistant Professor at Utrecht University, Department of Information and Computing Sciences. Even earlier, I was a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Stuttgart. I got my PhD in Human-Computer Interaction from Chalmers University of Technology in Gothenburg.

I’ve been in love with HCI for a while now and I do enjoy all aspects of it from the very techy details to discussing the field’s overall impact. At the time of writing, I’m particularly interested in HCI for sports, designing technology for wellbeing and how interactive technologies can support reproducible science. I believe HCI really has the potential to be a good thing in the world. What I like most is using a blend of methodologies and approaches.

I also enjoy introducing people to design thinking and convincing engineers that design is important. If you’re looking for someone to talk to about running shoes, I am your guy.
